from ldr to lrb

You are probably thinking what is the deal with this girl and initials

and who is that stud!!

For as long as I can remember and to this day there are people who call me “ldr” maybe because it sounds good or because of my camp vineyard days.. but it is what it is.. my initials flow out of peoples mouth easily.  
For so long and for so many reasons.. I clung to my initials.. there was even a point that I told the Lord, if you really want I can be ldr forever, but if you do that I want to move to Africa.  So close to surrender but still with my stipulations.  
The Lord quickly refined my stipulations and urged me to surrender and to really trust that He has a plan in store... something I have to daily cling to instead of “ldr”.  

Then there came a man, a man that would change my world and my initials forever! 

Nathan is truly a treasure.

I knew it from our first phone call to this very day.

 I can say easily I long to be lrb 
and in less than 3 months that is just what I will be

lrb.

I am currently a youth director in Charlotte, NC.  
For the last 4 years I loved my job more than I loved anything. 
 I love working with “my” youth.  I love walking alongside them as they serve our awesome God.  The Lord was so clear in putting me in my current position.. so clear I was never even interviewed!

I have never been more certain of my calling to be Nathan’s wife but it meant that I would move from Charlotte to Greenville. 

 I will cry A LOT and already have as I leave my job in Charlotte and my precious youth.  

However, I trust in a God that has a plan for the gifts He has graciously given us.  So here it is..  I could not be excited to share this with you all.

The Lord has clearly revealed this to me. 
 Something I have always wanted to do but struggled to know what it would look like.  

My desire is that  l.designs will be a place that will serve you well.
